Unique Corporate Branding Ideas #BloggersSocialMediaOpinion

Corporate branding has come a long way since the days of branded pens and traditional mediums. Today, a wealth of options can be considered as a way to promote your brand to your audiences. Whether you are planning a launch event for a new product, organising a media event tailored to targeted audiences or even a campaign to get your word out, you need to think out of the box to capture your audience's attention.

How do you ensure that your branding efforts are a success however, and what ideas can you consider to create maximum impact? These ideas should offer some inspiration to get you started.

Innovative Corporate Branding Ideas

From social media channels to thrilling event show-stoppers, your corporate branding doesn't have to stick to tradition. In fact, the bolder and more eye-catching your branding efforts are, the more likely the message will stick in your audiences' minds. Here are few ideas that you could consider to wow the masses:

Inject some humour and personality into your "brand" - this doesn't mean hiring a comedian to promote your brand, but you can still add some humour into your campaigns. Flashmobs, quirky animations, viral videos and other fun campaigns are ones that people will want to share. Getting your message across in a less serious way can also have plenty of impact too.

Offer freebies and giveaways where possible - if there is one thing that consumers love, it's free stuff. Rather than randomly giving away small samples, do a targeted approach instead. Giveaways to your local blogger community are a good way to build relationships with people who might be talking about your brand online, and can also help to introduce new products to a targeted audience.

Go large with visual effects - from dramatic branded ice sculptures to other visuals, events can be given a boost with high impact corporate branding initiatives that get people talking. After all, you want event attendees to be talking about your event afterwards €" give them a show that they will remember, and your message will stick too.

Personalise your social media platforms - social media branding is essential to create harmony between your company, website and other platforms. It is worth forking out for branded Facebook and Twitter pages, especially if you use these channels alongside your other marketing efforts.

Plan events that will be remembered - standard cocktail events or even breakfast media launches can be traditional, or they can be spectacular. Rather than giving people the same old event order, give them something to remember. Live ice carving, magic shows, surprise giveaways and any other €out of the box' idea that wakes your guests up will ensure an event they won't forget in a hurry.

At the end of the day, corporate branding is not just about shameless brand promotion. It is also about engaging your audience, and giving your brand a personality. Get this right, and your branding efforts will always be a success.

  1. Branded pens still have their place. After all, they do serve as a daily reminder of the company once the recipient uses them. However, in this day and age, companies that ignore blogs, Twitter and Facebook are limiting their reach. As you pointed out, making sure a brand has personality is important. It is relatively easy to do that when you can interact with consumers regularly via social media.
